I'm Conager Mrozek. I'm new to Preston!
My best friend is Joshua Greiner, happens to be the most infamous teacher at Preston Middle School. He was born in Fort Collins, Colorado, and lived here ever since. He began playing the Cello when he was twelve at Blevins Middle School and hasn't stopped loving it for over a decade. Josh enjoys spending time with his parents, two older sisters, and especially his young nephew and niece. Josh, is a product of PSD, going through Olander, Blevins, and Rocky Mountain High School. He graduated with his B.A. in Music Education and Cello Performance/Pedagogy from Colorado State University in December of 2019. While at CSU, Josh performed with the CSU Symphony, Sinfonia, Opera, and in the Chamber Music Program. In addition to performing, he took joy in teaching through CSU's Middle School Outreach Ensemble as well as the Cello Pedagogy Program. After teaching for three years at Preston, he began a Master of Music program at CSU and will finish in the summer of 2025. This will be his fifth year of teaching Orchestra at Preston and third year teaching Band at Preston, and man, is he excited about it.
Had I not started working at Preston, I wouldn't have met Josh. I on the other hand, moved here recently. My favorite hobby is listening to hip hop while rollerblading with my cat. He's a fairly large cat, so he can keep up most of the time. My favorite candy is Resee's Peanut Butter Cups and my favorite way of eating them is dipping them in a nice glass or orange juice. It's the BEST! I really am a huge fan of the Denver Bronco's baseball team. On a weekend, you can find me enjoying a Mini Soda while watching the Denver Nuggets play hockey. One day, I aspire to beat Mark Rober at launching squirrels around my yard and hopefully become a Ninja Warrior.
Oh yeah, and I like Math.
