Hey Pumas! My name is Emily DiMatteo, and I will be teaching PE, Adventure Ed, and Outdoor Living this year.  This is the start of my 16th year of teaching but only my first year at Preston, and I am super excited to have landed in Puma territory.

I am from Pittsburgh, PA and went to Slippery Rock University for both undergrad and grad school. I have been lucky to have had the opportunity to teach in 5 different states and 2 different countries to students ranging from nursery age to seniors in high school.

I live in Fort Collins with my husband and a boisterous poodle with the most outstanding haircut named Grover!  The three of us love to adventure and have fun outdoors in every season!  Some of our adventures include hiking, biking, trail running, unicycling, climbing, SUPing, swimming, camping, and skiing.  I am always looking for an adventure or a way to challenge myself mentally and/or physically

I love live music, ice cream, and cheese!

I can't wait to share and teach about the great outdoors and staying healthy with my students and the Preston community!
