I am starting my 16th year at Preston Middle School and have been teaching for 22 years. I have taught 5th graders to high school juniors in my educational journey! I finally found the place I love teaching the most!
I have lived in Fort Collins all of my life, I was the last graduating class of the old Fort Collins High School, in 1995. (That makes me 48 this year for those of you trying to figure that out!) I received my undergraduate degree from University of Northern Colorado in 2003 in mathematics and Elementary Education. I followed that up with a Master of Education in 2006 from UNC.
I have a wonderful family, my wife, Sarah, and I have two sons, Emmett who is 10 and Graham who is 8. We also have a crazy dog and two new cat sisters. We love traveling and any adventures with friends and family, including getting outdoors and hiking as much as we can. We go paddleboarding on our lake and hang out with our neighbors (we live on the coolest block in the world, and I will talk about them a lot! I love coaching and watching baseball and nothing beats watching college basketball!
