Biographical Sketch

I was born and raised in Laramie, Wyoming.  I am married and have two beautiful daughters and a family dog, Roscoe.

Education Background

I obtained a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota.   I moved to Rapid City, South Dakota where I taught Special Education at Douglas High School for 12 years (Ellsworth Air Force Base).  We moved to Fort Collins, CO in 2014 where I worked at Putnam Elementary for one school year. I then found my home at Preston Middle School.

Why I Enjoy Preston

I have been lucky enough to experience all 3 levels of education, and I am so lucky to have found myself at Preston Middle School!!!   I love our Puma Students and the qualities that they bring into the building.  I consider myself blessed to work for such a supportive administration and uplifting and empowering coworkers.  Preston truly is a magical place.

Favorite Books

I enjoy many genres of books, but if I had to choose, I enjoy Suspense/Mystery and Dystopian stories.

Interests and Hobby's

My family and I love being outside, camping, hiking, traveling, and adventure-seeking.  We also enjoy watching sports and attending games such as the Colorado Rockies.  During football season, my family and I enjoy watching our teams (as none of us share the same team).  I especially enjoy watching any sports that my daughters compete in.
