About Me
I have been in Poudre School District for many years and have been at two schools. I have been at Preston Middle School for 15 years. I was a teacher at Preston and was lucky enough to welcome in the 6th graders year after year. Now as the principal, I get to welcome all grades.
I am honored to lead this amazing school. We have wonderful teachers and a very supportive community. I value a strong parent/school partnership. I welcome feedback and want to improve year after year.
Education
I received an Earth Science degree from the University of Northern Colorado with an emphasis in education. I obtained my Masters in Educational Technology from Leslie University and later acquired my principal licensure from Colorado State University.
Favorite Reading
I enjoy reading a variety of genres, but make it a priority to keep current on my professional reading.
Interests
I love being outdoors with my family. A nice long hike is always at the top of the list. Many Sunday afternoons you can find me in front of the television cheering on my favorite Formula 1 driver, Nascar driver, and pro motocross racer.
