Hello! I am so excited for my first year at Preston! This will be my 20th year teaching middle school, and I must say, I love this age! I began my teaching career teaching Language Arts at Goddard Middle School, in Littleton, then spent 14 years teaching both ELA and Social Studies at Severance Middle School. Most recently, I taught at Boltz Middle School here in the district. I am particularly excited to be here at Preston, as my three daughters went here!
Students in my classes become part of a community. We work to strengthen our reading skills and take risks with our writing, but also work to grow comfortable with sharing our voices. All students are a vital part of our class, as each student contributes something unique and special. I cannot wait to hear each student's story, and to see what they bring to our class!
