Preston Administration is partnering with the Preston Parent Organization to commence The Preston Direct Dollars Donation for the 2019-20 school year. The direct dollars donation allows for 100% of the monies donated to directly benefit Preston students. Our main goal is to help make your child’s educational experience at Preston the best it can be. The Preston Direct Dollars Donations are intended to raise monies to support our students and school. The fund provides families an opportunity to contribute to a variety of school-wide needs.

6th Grade Students and New 7th/8th Grade Students

Poudre School District’s Provided Device program gives students access to a mobile laptop device, allowing the digital learning to continue in and out of school. For your student to be ready for this 1:1 rollout, you will need to do a few steps.  Below are links that Poudre School District has put to together to help with this process and introduce some computer/internet safety tips.

Office Hours and Access

The Preston main office is open each day, Monday through Friday, from 7:20 AM to 3:50 PM. All doors, including the front doors to our school are locked throughout the school day, except for a brief window before and after school for students to enter and exit the building.  We use a door buzzer at the front door during the school day to unlock the door for students, parents, and/or visitors. If you arrive and the doors are locked, please push the button on the outside intercom system on the purple wall to the right of the front doors and wait for a response.

Academics

Learning Culture

We believe it takes a true partnership among students, parents, staff, and the community to create the quality learning environment we have at Preston—an environment which stresses relationships, relevancy, and rigor. All programs, core academics, and electives such as music, art, drama, and athletics are important and are considered a significant aspect of our learning environment.
