Hello Pumas!  My name is Officer Savage, and I am YOUR School Resource Officer (SRO).  I have been in Law Enforcement since 2009.  I enjoy being a police officer, but being a School Resource Officer is truly the best job.

The goals of the School Resource Officer program are to:

•Provide a safe learning environment and help reduce school violence;

•Improve school law enforcement collaboration; and

•Improve perceptions and relations between students, staff and law enforcement officials.

My office door is always open.  I always love a good joke!  If you see me in there, don't hesitate to stop and say hello!  I say "if you see me in there" because you will most likely see me in the hallways, in your classrooms and in the lunchroom.  I am always up for a little competition during your PE class as well!  I love to build positive relationships with the students and staff; all while making you feel safe.  I also enjoy teaching various classes with the teachers.

During the day, I am a School Resource Officer.  When I go home, I am a wife and mom.  We have twin toddler girls that keep us very busy!  As a family, we love camping, traveling and going on lots of walks.  My hobbies include enjoying the great outdoors with my little ones, working out, hiking, listening to music and playing any sport that has a ball!

I look forward to knowing each and every single one of you!
