Welcome to Preston Middle School
Safety for each student, teacher, and staff is our first priority.
- For security reasons, all visitors and volunteers must enter the building through the front main entrance.
- Visitors/volunteers must sign-in at the Attendance Window and receive a visitor's badge/name tag. Please have your ID ready to be scanned.
- Please call ahead to schedule an appointment with the person you plan to visit and to check that the time you plan to visit is suitable. It is encouraged to make appointments before or after school hours.
- Parents/guardians may eat with their student in the breezeway or check them out to eat off campus. Please check out students during their assigned lunch time. They will be counted as tardy unexcused, extreme tardy, or unexcused if they miss class time.
- Volunteers that will be interacting with students must complete a volunteer application with PSD. This can be done at PSD Volunteers.
- Please sign out with the attendance office when leaving.
Items Dropped off for Students
For safety reasons, we only accept deliveries for students from those listed as the student's parent/guardian or emergency contact. We do not accept food order deliveries from delivery drivers.
- In order to decrease the number of interruptions for teachers, students will be notified at the end of the period that the item is dropped off, unless it is necessary for them to have for their current class.
- If you are dropping off a drink or other food item, please wait until 30 minutes before your student's lunch time. If you do not know which lunch your student has, please contact the main office.
