This year we celebrated our veterans with a morning appreciation breakfast! Then we moved out doors to listen to an amazing performance by our choir, followed by a salute to the flag with the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Social Studies Department put on an all day event of service. Students were allowed to choose one of the following activities to pay tribute. Some participated in boot camp, while others in a service project. There was also a group that worked on an artistic mural and finally a group who wrote letters to share with veterans at one of the Fort Collins/Loveland nursing facilities.
