8th Grade Celebration
- On Wednesday, May 29th, we invite you to join your child and our 8th grade staff for a picnic celebration and reflection of the middle school journey while at Preston Middle School.
- We would love to have you join us from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Preston for a picnic to honor our 8th grade students.
- Families please bring a blanket and a lunch to enjoy with your child on the Preston lawn. Lunch will be provided for students.
Students will be celebrating with their 8th grade classmates and teachers throughout the remainder of the day. Below is the schedule of events for 8th grade students:
7:45-9:08 Potluck breakfast with Purple 1 class
9:08-9:45 Assembly Preparation/ Activities
9:50-10:50 8th Grade Student Only Assembly
11:00-12:00 Celebration Picnic with Families
12:00-2:35 Movies and Popcorn with class (please see attachment for more information)

Important Check out information:
Please note, if you plan to check your child out of school after the celebration picnic, you will need to ensure you have signed them out in the front office. If you are checking out a student that is not your student, a note or email from student's parent is required for them to leave campus with you (texts from students will not be accepted). Please make sure the office has this communication no later than Tuesday, May 28th.

LUNCH FOR ALL 7TH GRADERS WILL BE FROM 10:31-11:01AM.
6th Grade Celebration
6th graders will be celebrating a successful year with field day on Wednesday May 29th.
From 9:15-11:15 students will be outside with teachers playing games and, having fun. Students should wear comfortable clothes and shoes, bring plenty of water, and wear sunscreen. Students will be encouraged to bring a sack lunch so we can enjoy a picnic together afterwards. This is a student event, however we are still looking for parent volunteers to help run game/activity stations. If you are interested in helping, please email Natalie Dudley at email@example.com.
