The Parenting Support Group:

Being a parent of a middle school-aged child is challenging!  Kids are in a phase of life that is like no other, and there is help along the path as you guide your child into young adulthood.  Join us to discuss what is normal at this stage, what is cause for concern, and how to set boundaries and get your needs met while allowing them to make decisions and experience natural consequences.  Come with a concern, or come to listen. . .we will all learn together and become better parents. PLEASE RSVP FOR EVENING MEETINGS TO jsimpson@psdschools.org

How do parents/guardians complete PSD required forms for some processes involved in Student Check-In or Registration?

PSD has transitioned to electronic signatures and forms for some processes involved in student registration paperwork completed before school starts. Please click here to read the email that was sent to PSD families in regard to the information pertaining to specific registration documents that are now available electronically.

What can you expect if you are a parent of a 6th grade student or of a child new to PSD/Preston?
All 6th grade and new students to PSD/Preston MS will bring home a PSD Provided Device User Agreement at the end of the first day of school.  Please click here to learn more about our PSD 1:1 Computer Laptops. If your 7th or 8th grade child attended a different PSD middle school last year, he/she will not need to pay the one-time laptop fee or sign the user agreement again.

What if you want to opt your child out of any PSD media?
Click here to access the PSD Media Opt-Out Form to complete and turn in to the main office.

How do I pay athletic participation fees and/or class fees?
PSD offers online payments for athletic participation fees, class fees, field trips, and other charges through SchoolPay.  Preston parents have the option to pay fees while at Preston or in the convenience of their home through the online payment portal SchoolPay.
