STEM Learning Together: Introduction to Home Design and 3D Architectural Modeling.
See Flyer HERE
Have you ever imagined designing and building your own home? Visualize that your great aunt has gifted you and your family with a small mountain lot and enough funds to construct a one-bedroom cabin. This Learning Together Workshop might be your first step as a personal or professional home designer. The workshop will be taught by a design professional and will introduce the teams to basic plan reading, understanding and interpreting construction symbols, introduction to design standards, and digital design tools. The product of this workshop will be a simple 3D (digital model) of your home that you can take and continue to design and refine. (participants will come away with the plan, elevation, and isometric view (PDF) in addition to the 3D digital model). The software is free and available for download at your home so that you can keep learning together.
Date: Saturday, February 9
Open to students in grades 5th-12th with attending adult.

During this 45 min session we will not be using any weight except the student's own body weight. This is simply an introduction to CrossFit Kids and the methodology that they follow.
