Identification

The identification process in Poudre School District uses a “body of evidence” for students being considered for gifted education services.

             The Body of Evidence consists of the following categories:

Achievement Scores:

  • CSAP, MAP, CMAS, PARCC

Intellectual Ability Scores:

  • Cognitive Abilities Test (cogAT)

Behavior Characteristics:

  • Scales for Identifying Gifted and Talented (SIGS)

Performance:

  • Portfolios, Grades, Juried Exhibitions

Other Assessment:

  • Torrence Test of Creative Thinking
